ABOUT ME

I am Beverly D. Banks-Greene, aka The Red Pen Lady, an Atlanta-based artist who writes poetry and experiments with acrylics, oils and mixed media in my visual work.  Influenced by the story-telling and vibrant works of Varnette Honeywood, Romare Bearden, Jacob Lawrence and Jonathan Green, I have a no-nonsense approach to my work to create thought-provoking visual art.
